In their individual capacities and as a collective the partners combine a wide range of experience and expertise in planning architectural and urban design projects that focus on issues related to urban regeneration.
These include:
• Housing;
• Social facilities;
• Environmental upgrading projects;
• Commercial developments;
• Entertainment and educational facilities.

Commitment to Empowerment
ASM has a track record of training and support for previously disadvantaged staff. The practice subscribes to the goals and objectives of the South African Black Technical and Allied Careers Organisation (SABTACO), of which one partner is a member. These objectives, among others, include:
• To provide role models to the youth, in order to promote various technical careers in schools   and communities.
• To foster effective development of previously disadvantaged professional consulting and
  contracting companies.
• To promote and participate in the training and transfer of skills to contractors and beneficiary   communities.

On average we recruit, train and provide financial support to two technical students from previously disadvantaged backgrounds in the field of architecture annually.
